Terms of Service

• You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activity under your account.
• Notify us at support@flingshare.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

FlingShare is not liable for loss or damage arising from failure to protect your account.

FlingShare lets you upload files, encrypt them client-side, and share self-expiring download links. Plan features and quotas are listed on our Pricing page.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with or without notice.

You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any law or regulation, including export-control and sanctions laws.
• Upload or share unlawful, harmful, or infringing content (e.g., CSAM, malware, pirated material, personal data without consent).
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or defame any person.
• Reverse-engineer, probe, or disrupt the Service.
• Commit fraud, send spam, or conduct phishing schemes.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, and cooperate with authorities where required.

• Files are encrypted in your browser before upload; we cannot decrypt them.
• Files are only accessible via the unique link and are permanently deleted when the link expires or you delete them.
• We automatically log IP addresses and metadata for security, abuse-prevention, and diagnostics.

• Free, Pro 75, and Pro 250 plans are available; fees and quotas are on our Pricing page.
• Paid plans auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current rate.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize us to charge your stored payment method.
• We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of price changes; you may cancel before they take effect.

• All sales are final. Refunds are granted at our sole discretion for duplicate payments, billing errors, or Service outages exceeding 24 hours.
• Initiating a chargeback without first contacting support may result in immediate account suspension and fee recovery.

Per-plan cumulative limits:

• Free — 3 GB (rolling 2 days)
• Pro 75 — 75 GB (rolling 7 days)
• Pro 250 — 250 GB (rolling 7 days)

Uploads above your quota are blocked until space frees via expiry or (Pro plans) manual deletion.

You retain all rights in your files. You grant FlingShare a limited, revocable license to store, transmit, and process your files solely to provide the Service.

We do not monitor files, but we may act on valid abuse reports.

• Anyone with the link can download the file; no account is required.
• You are solely responsible for where and with whom you share it.
• Expired or deleted links cannot be recovered.

Report abuse or copyright infringement to legal@flingshare.com.

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA or legal notice we may:

• Disable or delete the link
• Remove the content
• Notify you (where legally permitted)
• Provide a counter-notice process

We may cooperate with law-enforcement. We reserve the right to act without prior notice.

The Service integrates third-party providers (e.g., Stripe for payments). Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of those services.

• We employ TLS, at-rest encryption, and periodic security audits.
• We log IP addresses, device info, and timestamps for up to 30 days for fraud-prevention and diagnostics.

You represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any restricted country or on any sanctioned-party list. You agree not to upload export-controlled data without authorization.

Features labeled “Beta,” “Preview,” or similar are provided as-is and may be modified or removed at any time without notice.

The Service is provided “as-is” and “as-available.” We make no warranties of uninterrupted service or error-free operation. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, or governmental actions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlingShare shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amounts you paid us in the preceding six months.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FlingShare, its directors, and employees from any claim arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

• Sections relating to limitation of liability, indemnity, and license survive termination.
• If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
• Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of future enforcement.
• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and FlingShare.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. You consent to exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Ottawa, Ontario.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

You consent to receive all notices electronically via the email address associated with your account or via in-app messaging.

If you send feedback or suggestions, you grant FlingShare a perpetual, royalty-free right to use them without compensation.
